Can the wife request a travel ban to prevent the father from leaving with the child?
My divorce case is going on in Dubai court, my ex has my child passport.
In this case, can I put a travel ban on my child since I fear he will run away with the child when the case is ongoing?

Dear Questioner,
In accordance with the Federal Law Number 28 of 2005 concerning the Personal Status Law, the guardian can request the court to impose a travel ban on the child/children as a consequence of which the fosterer will not be able to travel outside the country without the written consent of the guardian.
You can request the Court for the same.
For more information, you can call us on our phone.
Regards.

You can file an application for the travel ban and the court will decide according to the circumstances. if you are a guardian most probably the court will give an order in your favour.
