Q: I have a divorce case in Dubai Court. My wife was the one who filed for it.
The first judge decision was 10300 monthly my salary is 29500. I have debts which I submitted in the first court and now the same debts in the appeal.
My question is in the appeal, how much approximately they may increase or decrease?
By the way, they didn't give here maid allowance and they didn't decide about the schools.

Execution filed in divorce proceedings for maintenance
1
Q: Hi Hari,
I have just gone through a divorce and my ex-wife has filed for execution. The document received from the court states to pay accommodation money full in advance, is this normal?
She forwarded me the document and I haven't received anything directly from the court. I have only been informed prior to two days before the execution date.
Which leaves me without any option as the letter states failure to pay court can take legal action.
The document only speaks about one-time payment and does not include any monthly payments that need to be made for children's maintenance, electricity bill or school fees.
My next question is that if she takes the full amount of accommodation money and stays with her family, is that legal?
As it impacts the quality of life of my children plus the amount ordered by the court for accommodation is used for personal enjoyment or expenses.
What legal options I do have?
Regards,
M.

The estimated amount of alimony for child and wife upon divorce

Q: Alimony Money after Divorce
Hi,
I am going through a divorce with my first wife. The court has advised up to discuss the alimony money.
She continues to increase her demand and is demanding much more than she originally requested to the court as she filed for the divorce.
I would like to understand how much will be the alimony money if the court makes the decision, and how much should be the kids' expenses.
Info:
My current salary is 23K.
I have 4 children with my first wife from whom I am getting a divorce.
I have one kid with my second wife.
I have my mother under my sponsorship as my father passed away recently.
I have a bank loan where I need to pay AED 9,000 every month.
My first wife is demanding approximately AED 11,000 (as expenses) plus accommodation, school fees and custody charges, which comes around 20K every month.
In this situation, I am left wit 3Kh only to pay loans, my living, support the second wife, kid and mother.
Thanks!

Can I file a case to raise the child maintenance from outside if my ex-husband is in Dubai?

1
Q: Hi!
I divorced my ex-husband in Romania where we were married.
At that time, his salary was low because of the Covid situation and the court assigned him to pay our son's maintenance of 300 euros.
He has moved to Dubai (he was a pilot in Romania and he now works for an airline in Dubai). He makes a lot more, wouldn't tell me how much but based on what I read online about the company, he is making between 7-8000 euros.
He rarely comes back to Romania to see our son and he refuses to raise the child support amount he gives to him.
Is there anything I can do according to the UAE laws considering I am not a resident of your country?

Can the spouse claim backdated expenses plus maintenance upon mutual divorce?

0
Q: My wife and I are Indian Christians with one child and are in the process of a no-fault mutual divorce.
While I understand the father has to take full responsibility for the child's maintenance, my spouse is claiming 3 years of backdated expenses as per Article 67 of the personal status law.
I have provided financial support to my wife during our marriage and we have agreed to share the expenses but still under extreme financial strain which is one of the reasons for divorce.
Can she force these 3 years of backdated expenses if produced as an agreement as this is a completely unreasonable point to agree with?
What are the chances to let the court decide whether this is acceptable or not?

How can I refund the amount of online tickets in Dubai for fraudulant misrepresentation? 0
Last Friday, I was booking tickets for the Miracle Garden on some Dubai tickets website, and on the OTP page, it showed 225 to be paid on my phone. The otp was added automatically, and I couldn't read the message properly. It turns out 4,225 got deducted from my account.
I immediately called the bank, and they said they can't reverse the transaction, fill out the dispute resolution form, etc. Even tho the transaction was in process today, the transfer shows complete.
Is there a way to get it back?
I registered an online complaint with the Central Bank and cybersecurity. I really need the money with my rent coming up, please guide me.

What to do if someone impersonated an employee in the company I own and got mobile lines and phones? 0
Someone impersonated an employee in the company I have owned since 2012 and extracted 18 mobile lines in addition to several iPhones.
I was surprised that the company cut off our landline and mobile communications on the pretext that he was monitoring a debt of 167,000 dirhams.
This person was arrested, tried, found guilty, and sentenced to deportation. However, the telecommunications company is still demanding from my company and pursuing me because of this debt that we are not to blame for.
How can this matter be resolved?

Landlord cashed my rent but won’t renew Ejari unless I accept a higher deposit. What should I do? 0
Hello,
I had a rental dispute case with my landlord. Based on the judgment, I paid the entire rent to the landlord, which the landlord has already cashed.
He is not issuing the Ejari because he wants to increase the security deposit by 10% every year, which I am not accepting. I have already given the 5% security deposit.
The landlord is not accepting it. He is forcing me to sign a new agreement, otherwise he will not renew the lease agreement.
Please let me know what I should do.
