Filing a case against a company for failing to provide services after payment
Good day,
Please advise on the following:
Our company ordered an advertising service from another company in Dubai. We have paid the full amount in advance, but have not received any service.
It's been around 11 months since the order was placed and paid. The advertising company representative doesn't answer phone calls, same goes for their office.
Our company owner wants to raise a legal case against them to recover the amount paid.
Please advise what is the process and the cost of the same.

We strongly advise that you try to find out if the company is real and if it is still working before making any move.
It could be not worth the expenses for making a case against them while they fled the country, for example.
That said, you need to prepare all the paperwork for the case, translate any English documents to Arabic through a licensed legal translator, and preferably hire a trustworthy lawyer to handle your case.

Yes, you have the right if you have an agreement or purchase order or invoices that was given by the other party and it's paid.
If there's any proof of payment done and there's an agreement, we can terminate the agreement and get a refund.
If there's no agreement just mutual understanding and the payment was made and there's email correspondence to confirm that, we have the right to file order on a petition and get a full refund.
