Partner's liability while other partners are outside the country
My wife is a partner in a civil company in Dubai. The company has 4 partners; 3 of them are out of the country.
The company bought things for AED 50k which was not paid back and now they filed a case.
What will be the liability for my wife? she is not the manager of the company.
What will be my wife's liability for that company?
Hi there,
The primary liability of the company falls under the manager's obligations. However, we cant decline the shared responsibility of the partners or the authorized signatories if some action was taken solely and directly by any individual/officer of the company.
We need to look into the facts that who ordered these things and under what capacity? What the MOA and other agreements of the company state?
