Can I claim compensation from my company for a wrongful absconding case?
My company filed an absconding case against me while I was in prison. This caused me to stay another 15 days.
Can they not see I am in prison and not absconding?

Dear Questioner,
If your company was not aware that you are in jail yet, they filed an absconding report against you, you have the absolute legal right to approach the immigration with a certificate from the jail proving that you been detained.
But if your company filed an absconding report against you although they know that you are in jail, this means that they don’t care and harmed you intentionally. So you can sue them and claim around AED 50K as compensation.
