Rights of the employee in termination of limited contract during probation
Hello,
My friend was terminated from a company before completing probation. Her contract is limited.
She is getting the payment of her last working days only without gratuity. She accumulated 10 days of leave balance.
Should she get paid for those?

Thanks for contacting me.
Please note that as per Article 120 of the UAE labour law the employer has the right to terminate the employment contract during probation without notice.
In that case, the employee is entitled to get the pending salaries only.
As per Article 132 of the UAE labour law, a worker who has completed one or more years of continuous service shall be entitled to severance pay at the end of his employment.
As per Article 75, the annual leave period will start accumulating only after a period of 6 months from the date of joining.
