How to claim damages from a dentist for negligence and malpractice

Hi,

I went to a clinic for teeth braces to make my teeth straight and they told me that they need to remove 2 teeth and then they will put braces.

So they did the same and on 3rd visit, the other doctor asked me to do an x-ray to check the situation.

She checked my x-ray and told me that sorry we can't do this treatment with the braces because it's a bone problem, so you can go to a surgeon.

Now, I am struggling with pain and even all my teeth are shaking. I want to file a case for a money claim.

Please advise on this.

Dear Sir

I hope you are well, and I feel sorry for the pain you went through.

Please note that you have three options moving forward with your case:

1) Filing a civil case in Dubai Courts

2) Inform the police and the Public Prosecution about this, which will lead to a criminal investigation against the concerned doctor

3) Submit a complaint to the Health Authority.

It is best to turn to a lawyer, for advice on how to take the correct legal steps in front of the court.

In addition, this case may go through two stages and you will need to respond to the defence that the legal representative will present to the doctor.

I am honoured to assist you and provide my legal advice regarding the case.

Greetings

You should file a complaint in the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for negligence against the hospital and the doctor and DHA authority will investigate the matter and will submit a report.

Based on that report, you can file a civil case for damages.

You may contact me directly for further consultation by phone or email.
