How to recover the amount of a bounced cheque after a criminal case
Dear all,
Greetings,
A company issued me a post-dated cheque but when I went to the bank to cash it, It turned out that there were insufficient funds.
I have reported the case to the Dubai police but still, nothing happened.
What should I do next? Will I get my money at the end? When may I get my money as I really need it?
Thanks in advance

In the Police case (criminal case) he will be punished for the crime of bounced cheque and you will not get anything from him.
You need to file a civil case in the court for the recovery of your amount, therefore, you should appoint a lawyer to proceed with your civil case. For the civil case, you need to pay a 6% court fee (Dubai court).
After the court judgment, you can execute that court order and become eligible to take your money from the person.
Please contact me directly by phone or email for further consultation.

Dear questioner
It is better for you to give a POA to a lawyer so that he takes the appropriate legal procedures to obtain a court ruling against the company and implement it.

Dear Questioner,
I am assuming you have filed a criminal complaint against the cheque issuer. I need to know the details of the cheque (amount, emirate... etc.) to advise you on the criminal case.
To recover the monies owed to you, filing a civil case is the right course of action.
You may contact me on the phone to discuss this matter in detail and provide you with appropriate legal advice.
