How to check the status of a case at RERA from outside the UAE
My ex-landlord opened a civil case against me for what should have been opened in RERA rental disputes.
I had to urgently leave the UAE during COVID-19 and relocate back to the USA and have no idea what happened with the execution of the court case and if there is a travel ban on my passport.
How can I check my status prior to coming back to the UAE?

The best way to inquire about this is through a lawyer. You will need a power of attorney and your lawyer will be able to inquire about all the details on your behalf.

You are outside and you can come to the UAE if there is no issue to come.
But if there's a court order for payment and you have not paid, then you may be banned to go back from the UAE until the payment of court order.
