1. Now that I have registered a court case, what's going to happen next?

The Court will set for you a hearing then the Judge will check the result of the case notification whether your Company has been notified or not. The attendance is online; after many hearings, the court will release a judgment.

In case the judgement is not in your favour, you can file an appeal or vice versa. After the judgment becomes final, you have the right to file a labour execution to recover your pending amount as per the verdict of the case.

2. Will I have to visit court, every time for hearings?

As per Dubai Court rules, going on attendance is through online by the Court system. The court will send you a link to join your hearing. But just in case you missed the hearing, the Court will cancel your case and you need to renew it from cancellation.

3. I am looking for a new job here, will this court case be any issue in me getting a new job or new employer issuing a new work permit and what can I do to ease the process of new work permit?

For sure you have the right to join another company but you will need a Non-Objection certificate from the court that you have a running case in order to apply for your work permit.
