The procedure of issuing a POA from outside the UAE
I am a UK citizen temporary residing in India and want to issue a power of attorney to my manager to operate a bank account in the UAE.
What is the process to issue a POA?
You can sign a power of attorney in name of that person and notarise it with a notary public, and that document needs to be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India in New Delhi and the UAE embassy in India.
After that, the document also needs to be attested in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.
If the document is not in Arabic, then you need to do the legal translation in Arabic and obtain attestation of the Ministry of Justice in the UAE for that translation.
All these processes of attestation require to use of any document to use in the UAE.
