Q: Dear Sir,
I have given some money (AED 185,000) to my friend for his business purpose, almost 18 months before. Now, he does not return my money back.
I didn't have any legal agreements or security cheque. I transferred this amount from my account to his account. Can I proceed with a case?
Please suggest me, Sir.

Claiming maintenance from husband living in Dubai

0
Q: Dear Sirs
I married (Nikah) my husband, Egyptian national working in Dubai, on 17/03/2018.
I was due to move to Dubai, and I translated all my official documents into Arabic, had them notarized...etc. because my husband promised to pay me.
I have evidence of this promise in WhatsApp. This amounted to something like 15´000 SEK (Swedish krona), which is not a lot of money. Also, he has not paid my Mehr of merely 1000 SEK.
Q. Can I do anything to claim my money back?
Yours faithfully,
S. K.

How can I act against the domestic violence and cheating of my boyfriend?

0
Q: Hi.
I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now. I moved in with him.
When we started dating, he already borrowed some money from me. Then later on, he asked me to take a loan so he could get a flat. Then when I got the bonus, we used it to pay his pending to clear his case.
He keeps cheating on me. many times I caught him. He became violent, hitting me, punching me even in a taxi, and he pulled my hair in front of his brothers. He broke my phone when I tried to move out.
But still, I stayed because I love him. He started buying cameras at home. He is hiding the camera because he is accusing me of cheating. He is accusing me of having a relationship with other guys in the flat.
He is becoming more and more abusive. Every day he is accusing me of something. I bought a camera and helped him install it to prove he was wrong. But he kept accusing me of even changing the position of the camera every day.
What should I do?
What legal action can I take?
I want to put an end to this now.

View allHow can I renew my Ejari if the landlord hasn’t signed the new contract? 0
Hi,
I have been here for 3 years now and paid the increased amount (as per the agreement) for the 4th year.
However, the landlord did not send me back the signed contract, although I have both made the payment for the full year via bank transfer and sent my signed contract to him.
I need to renew my Ejari; however, how can I do it without the landlord's signature?
I have all the previous contracts signed by both parties, along with the Ejari for those contracts.

How can I file a counter-complaint for a false public cursing accusation? 0
Hello,
How can I file a counter-complaint against a person who made a false report about me for public cursing, which I never did?
He made the complaint about three months after we last met. I now have a case because of it, but I never said any bad words to him.
I was stopped at the airport because of that.

My company has filed a case against a client for failure to pay and bounced cheque. How to follow up? 0
Hello.
My company has filed a case against a client for failure to pay and a bounced cheque. The client's company is registered as a virtual office in the Creative City Free Zone in Fujairah, so our case is filed there.
The client basically purchased some equipment from us, and his payment via bank transfer did not go through and was rejected. Then, when we deposited his security cheque after multiple attempts to contact and no answer, the cheque bounced.
The company is under his wife's name, and we have filed a case on the same.
The court has accepted our application, however, they have instructed the execution bureau to get the Emirates ID of this authorised signatory. The bureau is asking us to get it, and we have no way to do so, unfortunately.
Without the Emirates ID, the court cannot freeze the bank accounts or put a travel ban, etc.
What are our options here?
