Consequences of terminating a limited labour contract on the employee

I’m on a 2-year limited contract. I initially completed the 2 years and renewed for another 2 years. I have now completed the 3rd year and have less than a year left on the renewed limited contract.

I want to resign. Do I have to pay 2 months salary as a penalty?

Can I negotiate with my employer to have this waived?

What if I do not have the money to pay the employer? What can they do?

You must be completing your term in order to get away from liabilities.

Otherwise, you need to complain to Labour and then get your contract canceled for any valid reasons.
