Effects of terminating employment during the probation period

Dear Questioner

In case your employer terminates your employment during the probation period, or in any other case of resignation, you should not be requested under any circumstances to pay the visa expenses. It is against the law by all means.

However, the possibility of imposing an automatic labour ban by the Ministry of Human Resources is valid as you did not work for one year with your employer.

This is theoretical advice. Your case could be treated differently based on your salary level and your profession, and based on your employer’s legal structure.
