The proper way to file a labor case against a free zone company

Hi,

Hope you all are doing well!

I want to file a complaint against a free zone company online, but it is asking me for a "letter from the free zone area".

I have no clue what this letter is and where I can get it.

Any information, please?

Hi,

In normal procedures, if your company is located in a free zone, therefore, your complaint should be filed first to the free zone, and once the authority of the free zone is not able to solve it amicably, the labor has the right to ask for a referral letter from the free zone to the MOHRE.

If these steps are not followed, your case shall be dismissed by the court due to not following the proper process.

Then you need to file a Labor Complaint in the Labor Office of your free zone. Then, if a settlement did not happen, they will issue a letter for the Court, which will allow you to file a Labor Case.
