Q: Hello
Here is my situation. I'm a man, divorced with one child who lives with her mother.
I signed a contract with her that I offer my child AED 10.000 a month. The contract was signed in the court - department of personal matters of Dubai.
I paid for one year and a half. Since this time I got a health issue of my parents and lost my work.
My situation now, I'm without work and can't afford to pay this amount now and would like to know how I can make it low so I can be able to pay.

Negotiations on alimony and child support after divorce
8
Q: Hi,
We have been granted a divorce notice from Dubai courts on Jan 2018, signed by me and ex-wife in front of the judge while she being pregnant, we both are living separately since Oct. 2017.
She has delivered successfully recently and I have supported her through these times financially as per her wish of doctors and healthcare.
My question is, she has been demanding a huge amount for monthly support for a settlement, and adding, she requires a car and an extra amount for healthcare and education.
How can I deal with this situation?

Possibility of changing custody in case of changing country

Q: I am a US citizen (father of a 9-year-old).
I recently got divorced and have sole legal and primary physical custody of my child. My wife is allowed only 1 visit with my child (for 2 hours each week, under the supervision of a 3rd person).
My wife has unaddressed mental health issues. This is documented in the Parenting Plan and Divorce Decree.
If I move to outside the UAE, can my wife again file for revision of custody?
Will my US divorce and parenting plan be considered by the courts in the UAE?

How to implement the divorce judgment and claim alimony and custody?

1
Q: First instance divorce judgment has been provided based on Article 7 of Federal Law 41 of 2022 and based on Article 133 of the Civil Procedures Code - the defendant was requested to pay expenses and fees.
Later, I received a notification to apply for implementation of the ruling and execution proceedings!
What action is required from the plaintiff?
Under Article 133 of the civil procedure code, can compensation for damage be claimed? And what type of evidence must be submitted?
Within how many days must the implementation of the ruling and execution proceedings be raised by the plaintiff to the court?
What are the rights, roles, and responsibilities of husband and wife regarding child custody and child support based on the above judgment?

Our divorce case status in Dubai Courts shows "Decided". Does it mean divorce is granted?

1
Q: Our divorce was processed in Dubai Courts and the case status shows "Decided".
Does it mean that our divorce has been granted and that our marriage contract under Dubai Personal Status Courts is now nullified automatically?
Do we need to do any process to obtain documents to guarantee the divorce?

Registering an execution case after winning a payment order 0
I need to register an execution case since I won a payment order (Amr Ada) Case.
A) Is there a special format to use when registering the execution case file? or can I type in my words in the online process for smart case registration?
B) What is the cost of the execution for the Amr Ada case? I need to claim that amount as part of my total, but I don't know how much this will cost me? Is it a fixed cost or is it a percentage of the executed amount?
C) The honorable court had earlier decided to give me a fee postponement of Amr Ada court fees since I am 80 years old. Then the respondent lost the Amr Ada lawsuit and he will have to pay the court fees.
Will I have to pay for the execution case filing? Or the letter I got for court fee postponement will apply to the execution case as well?
Thank you!

Filing a false case against an employee in order not to pay his dues 0
Sir,
I am working in Dubai as a sales representative with 1000 as basic salary in the contract. I submit my resignation on 15/09/2020 with 30 days notice period.
The company asked me to hand over the job on 01/10/2020. I handed over the company car, SIM, and laptop. On 11/10/2020, the company filed a case against me that I deleted all company emails.
They filed a case in labor court. They don't want to pay me September month salary + 6 years final settlement +1 year leave salary. Also, They don't want me to join a competitor company.
That's why they filed the case. I do not have money for food. My 4 member family in India depends only on my salary. I don't know what to do.
Please help me!

Obligation of the cheque signatory when he wants to leave the company 0
I am working in a tourism company in Sharjah, the 100% ownership is with the sponsor. The company started in March 2019, after 3 years only, to change to LLC as per the license.
The sponsor gave me power of attorney to open a bank account so I am signing on cheques and all is going perfectly.
My company has 7 partners and they took various letters on the company letterhead and stamped for mutual agreement, and also my 2 blank cheques and one checkbook are with them.
Please advise, is there any issue if I quit the company?
I want to repay AED 50000 to the company because I paid credit to customers still not received, and I will pay but need few months time to repay the same. They threatened like talking more.
Please advise and how can you help
