Possibility of being charged by police if there is no proof of marriage
Hi,
I am married but don’t have a certificate to show it. I was reported for a bounced cheque and when police asked me for my statement, they asked if I’m married and I answered yes.
I have a 2-year-old son who was born outside the country. Will I be charged with sex out of wedlock?
Thank you

Hopefully, Police will not file any other case, maybe they asked a general question.
If you are married anywhere in the world that is a valid marriage therefore if any issue comes, you can bring your marriage certificate wherever it was done and it will a valid document.
