One person came and handed the car over to me. I signed only on the checklist for car inspection then I had an accident in the car. We have been advised by the police and Dubai Courts to open a civil case against him. He has 8 black points on his license, and he has now impounded my car with 23 black points. The fines amount to AED 11200 and stole a further AED 2150. Can you please advise me of the process and the cost I would incur if I was to open a civil case against him?
