Claiming gratuity from employer two years after resignation
I have worked as a dentist for 12 years and above in a private clinic. I ended my service in 2018 January.
He has not paid my gratuity and is always giving excuses. Now after two years he wants to pay only half the gratuity in 12 cheques.
Please advise.
Thanks

Send him a legal notice them. If he did not accept, complain in the labour department.

Dear questioner,
As you can not initiate a labour case as of now for your pending gratuity, therefore it will be wise enough for you to accept the pending payments in PDC.
Please note that the labour case can be filed within 12 months of leaving the job and not beyond that.
