Working at the company of the husband without labour contract

Hello,

I’m in Abu Dhabi under my husband’s sponsorship. He has his own company in the UAE. I’m officially part of my husband's company as the CCO, it’s mentioned on the website and on social media.

However, we never made an employment contract and I don’t receive a fixed salary. Can I face any trouble for working illegally in the UAE or would this arrangement be considered legal?

Thank you!

Dear client,

You should make a labour card from MOHRE to avoid any problem.

Thanks

Thank you very much for your reply.

What are the problems I could face if I don’t have a Labour card?

And is it possible that anyone could report me (for example a former employee) and I will have problems because of this?

Thanks again!

This may cause problems for the company and the worker in the Ministry of Labor.

It is best to make a contract and issue a new work permit for you, on the husband’s sponsorship.
