Canceling a visa of a deputed employee after a dispute with the client

Hello,

I was working in an Indian company. We were deputed to the UAE for some client locations. The client provided me with a visa under their quota (labor category) since my company doesn't have any branch in the UAE.

We had a dispute with the client, then we canceled our work and I left the UAE within 10 days of getting the visa.

So please advise me on how to cancel the existing visa without any future dispute?

If you want to leave, you are free to leave but you must comply with the notice period under the provision of the law i.e serve the notice period and formally cancel your contract/visa, failing which the employer will have no choice but to report you absconding and you will have a lifetime ban.

The employer has no issues with me and he does not ask me to serve a notice period. I want to know if the employer will make any statement of absconding. The visa will close automatically without any issues?

If you do not formally cancel your visa (in the absence of your passport which is required for formal cancellation), he will have no option but to declare you absconding.

The visa will not close automatically. Yes, it will expire after 180 days but before that, under the law, the employer must report you absconding.
