An unresponsive employer and the execution of court decisions
I have filed a labor case in Sharjah Court against my employer for not paying 20000 AED/6 months. I have attended almost 6 hearings until now. But, my employer didn't attend any of the hearings at court and also never replied to any notice from the court.
Finally, the judge has asked me to put the legal summons in the newspaper. My questions are:
1. What will happen if he is not replying to this newspaper notice also? How am I going to get the money?
2. Some say that the court will distribute the money from your company security deposit, is this true?
3. Will he face any legal action for this case? Ex: Account ceases, travel ban (Because he seems to be like running away from the country), anything like that.
Dear Sir,
Once you get the final judgment, you can file execution and It will result in his bank account cease, travel ban and property attachment.
Thanks!
He can ignore and do not reply. But you need to follow the process, which is advised by the court. Once you receive a judgment, you need to file an execution application and to pay execution court fees. Then the Court will take care of your money recovery from the employer.

Dear questioner,
Regarding your inquires, please find the below answers:
1- If the employer did not reply, the judge will postpone the hearing for issuing the judgment. You can open the execution file against him and follow the needed procedures.
2- Yes, it is true in case your former company has deposit cheques as a guarantee.
3- He will not if the court found funds in his bank account to pay your elements. He will face a travel ban if there are any funds in his bank account.
Good luck!

Hello,
1. If he is not replying to the newspaper, then there will be a second and third summons. Even electronic summons sometimes accepted from the court. Through a lawyer its preferable to represent the case and then there can be ex parte order.
2. It depends on the court from case to case basis.
3. Yes, when execution is filed after judgment.
