Claiming EOSB after resignation from unresponsive employer
I have resigned from my previous employer on 11 February 2020. I worked with the company for 10 years now.
The company owes me a gratuity amount of AED 90,000. They earlier assured me they would pay my end of service in part.
However, they have been ignoring my emails, phone calls, Whatsapp messages...etc. It's been almost more than 45 days now.
Can someone let me know how can I proceed legally with this and will I get my end of service?
They have been doing this to other previous employees and don't care about the UAE law. It's a free zone media company in Abu Dhabi.
Please help.

Dear questioner,
You have to initiate a complaint with the MOL for your pending dues and other benefits.
Initially, you need to raise a complaint with the Free Zone Authority.
The Free Zone Authority will further give you a letter so that your labour complaint can be registered with the MOL and Labour Court subsequently.
If need be, kindly contact us by phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.

Dear Questioner,
You have to file a complaint to the MOL office and proceed with litigation against them.
Also, we can send them a legal notice through our firm to force them to settle before attending to court and obtain a cheque or settlement agreement for you executable in Court without litigation.

Dear questioner,
You should register the labour complaint against your employer with the media free zone authority.
If the employer attends the first hearing and settle the complaint with you, you can close the complaint.
If the employer did not attend or even try to settle your labour benefits, you will be free to ask the free zone authority to transfer the file to the labour court.
Thanks.
