Canceling a partner visa and issuing a new one during Corona-virus pandemic

Hi,

I have a partner visa but my visa is expired now. I am overstaying. If I will cancel my visa, what is the fine process?

How to issue a new visa to stay legally in Dubai (UAE)?

Please guide me!

Dear questioner,

As of now and regarding the new rules, the overstaying fine will be released due to the current situation of the coronavirus.

Thanks!

Thanks for replying!

Please give me one more information:

My visa was expired on January 2020, are all these new rules applied to me or not?

Yes, the new rules will be applied to your situation as well. No worries.

Dear questioner,

The fines of overstaying after 1 April will be waived for 3 months. You can apply for a new visa and changing of status after restoring the visa issuing again. You can contact us to help you at the time of cancellation.

Dear questioner,

If your overstay is because of the current situation, you will not have to pay any fines.

You cannot apply for a new visa unless you clarify the situation with your current visa. Considering the fact that the rules are changing from one day to another, I advise you to check your case with the Immigration Office.

In case you need our involvement, please contact me via email.
