Dealing with inconvenience caused by neighbors in their flat
We are very disturbed by the flat above us. The flat was renovated a few months ago, installed new hard tiles, and flipped it into a business. We barely sleep at night due to footsteps and chair drags.
The building management refused to cooperate. The owner refused to cooperate, and Dubai Municipality refused to help. The Police said it’s not their business.
What are my options? I want to take it to the next level and file a lawsuit.
Dear questioner,
I think that you have to check the fact that such business is not supposed to be open on a residential building, especially where they are working 24 hours and claim compensation from the unit management.
Also, you can send a legal notice to them to ask them to install a material to block the noises before you take legal action.
