You can resign from employment after serving your notice period. Inform the Department of Economic Development (DED) that you are no longer employed in the company. A notification needs to be sent to the company owner to appoint another manager.

There was an old employee whose Full and Final (FNF) settlement has not been paid by company till now and has complained in MOHRE.

The company has only one employee who is me. Can I resign from the company and my name get removed from the license?

It is an Indian real estate rep office. Will I be responsible for any dispute between the old employee and the company for the due FNF.

You can resign and you will not be responsible. Please make sure that you approach the DED to remove your name from the trade license.

Dear questioner,

You can resign from your current employment. After servicing the mandatory notice period, you can send a notification to DED about your resignation and further remove your name from the trade license.
