DIFC wills

I am thinking to obtain the DIFC Will with my husband but I heard that it is pointless. Is this true? Will this document have effect in the Emirates?

DIFC Wills, through the DIFC Courts have jurisdiction over the distribution of all assets in Dubai and Guardianship of minor children (under the age of 21), who habitually reside in Dubai, for non-Muslims.

It being "pointless", would depend on a number of different factors. But if you are non-Muslim and have assets in Dubai and/or minor children residing in Dubai, then the DIFC Will serves a very important purpose.
