Consequences of failing to pay the outstanding of credit card
Hello.
I have 2 credit cards one with [----] bank of outstanding 15000 and the other is with [----] bank of outstanding 7000.
Please advise, I am not willingly able to pay the debt. Will they file a case? And if I pay to the police after the case, will the debt be closed?
Also, is there any problem with the travel ban?

Dear Questioner,
Thank you for your query.
Yes, the banks can file a claim for the non-payment of your monthly EMI towards credit cards.
Once the criminal case has been filed, you will be issued a fine and a travel ban will be imposed.
Once you pay the fine the criminal case will be closed and the travel ban will be lifted.
After this, the bank can proceed and file a civil claim to recover the outstanding amounts.
