Terminating the contracts of credit cards after default

My name is S. I have two credit cards which I can't pay. I want to terminate this, please give me some advice.

Dear S.,

Unfortunately, you cannot terminate the contract unless the full amount is paid.

In case you will not pay the full amount, they have the right to file a criminal complaint against you and to add your name on the blacklist.

Ok. My first credit card has an outstanding of 15000 and on the second I have 7000.

So I need it to pay it fully?

I am paying regularly to the bank for one card, the other I did pay from last 2 months.

Will be there any travel ban that I need to know?

You can try to reach a settlement with the bank for a lawyer amount - if they approve it.

I cannot say if there is a criminal case already filed against you unless I check your records in the police station.

In order to do this, I need a Power of Attorney (POA) from you, allowing me to represent you in front of the relevant authorities in the UAE.
