Q: Hi Sir/Madam.
Greetings!
I would like to know about my friend details.
He has worked in the UAE and got a ban from his employer due to breaking the contract, and he has a loan in ADCB bank.
He has been paying properly until he left the UAE. After that, he didn't pay due to job loss.
Now, he wants to come back to the UAE and he wants to know if his bank submitted any legal case against him.
Please guide me, how can we check whether he is having a case or not? Where can we know these details?

Will I be arrested for an old pending debt if I visit the UAE?

1
Q: Good afternoon,
I have a question regarding my financial status in Dubai.
I have acquired a credit card many years ago from a bank on which I have stopped making payments about maybe three years ago and right now I would like to visit my family in Dubai.
I just would like to enquire about the consequences of the visit what could possibly happen to me at the airport and what legal consequences would I face as a result of this.
I am so as a result of defaulting on my debt. I haven’t paid anything towards that in the past three years.

Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
An RDC judgment of Aed100500/- was issued against me in Dubai. They did the evictìon in my absence. I defaulted on rental cheques due to having no salary for a long time
I was in India for 3 months to settle my family. The firm is in Dubai. No official information was given to me for any activities at any time. I got all information and judgments unofficially.
I am coming back to Dubai on the 2nd of December. The judgment was issued on the 14th of October and the eviction is being processed today as per unofficial information.

If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country? 0
Hi.
One of my friends joined a Telegram group. They said, "We will transfer some amount to your account, and your task is to transfer this amount to another account. Once the task is completed, you will get 30 or 50 AED per task."
He completed 3 to 4 tasks, but he realized it was not good, so he stopped. After one week, when he opened his account, it was blocked, and the bank said, "We are conducting an investigation; after this, we will let you know."
After some days, he had an accident and went to his home country. He then received a call from a landline number, which was from the Abu Dhabi police station.
They said, "We have received a complaint against you; come to our investigation department." However, due to his surgery and treatment, he could not go.
After some time, his bank account was reopened, and he did not receive any further calls. I want to know, if he comes back to the UAE or goes to any other GCC country, will he face any problems?
If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country?
Please advise!

I want to open an online shop. Do I need a license to open an Etsy shop? 0
I currently live in Sharjah and have a UAE residence visa but I am not a UAE or GCC national. I want to open an online shop (Etsy or Shopify) to sell handmade items, such as crocheted goods, bookmarks, greeting cards, etc.
Do I need a license to open an Etsy shop?
If so, which license do I need to sell my products online, including UAE and worldwide?
How much would it cost me?
Can I keep my residence visa (sponsored by my father) and not change it?

How can we locate a person with an ongoing legal case? 0
Hello,
I am seeking your legal advice regarding a friend who was previously imprisoned in Abu Dhabi. His case there is now closed, but he has another ongoing case in Dubai.
Currently, we have lost contact with him and are unsure of his whereabouts. How can we check where he is or access any other legal facility?
Are there legal procedures to locate a person with an ongoing case?
What steps should we take to get more information about his status and legal position?

View allHow can I reverse the Bitcoin scam transation if I just lost everything in a flash loan attack? 0
DeFi was going to be the future of finance, open, trustless, unstoppable. I was completely on board, planting yields like some kind of digital Johnny Appleseed.
My collateral secured with Bitcoin was humming along on my favorite lending platform, earning me passive income while I slept. In came the flash loan attack.
One moment, I had six figures securely staked; the next, my positions were liquidated at the speed of regret. My loans, my collateral, my well-thought-out portfolio, poof.
Panic came faster than an Ethereum gas spike. I scanned Twitter, hoping it was FUD. Not a chance. Smart contract compromised. Funds stolen. The protocol team acted swiftly to do something, but damage was already done.
