Advertising regulation in the UAE

Will it be legal if I will print a sticker with the logo and contact details of my company and place it on my car? Or I should obtain any special permit? Thanks

Advertising in Dubai is regulated by Federal Law No.15 of 1980 concerning publications and publishing (UAE Publications and Publishing Law).

Article 17 of the UAE Publications and Publishing law prohibits circulation (i.e. selling, distributing publications or displaying them for the purpose of sale or advertisement, or any other action that makes publications within the reach of a number of people) of any publications on the main road or in any public place, even temporarily, unless a permission is obtained from the proper authority at the ministry.

Please bear in mind that UAE legislation contains numerous limitations on the content of advertisements. To get more information on these regulations as well as the permission acquisition procedure please feel free to contact our office.
