The license required to start a business as a seller on Amazon

I'm thinking of starting a business as a seller on Amazon (FBA). I'm currently employed and I'm thinking of the best way to start with the least fees possible, and most importantly, what type of license do I need?

As per Amazon FAB, they are not requiring a license from individuals and you can apply as individual contractor according to their website, as you are not doing any business but you are only a supplier to Amazon based on a contract where amazon is doing the business.

I was assisting another client to register with Amazon FAB. On the website, both individuals and companies can register, there is a form for individuals.

You have to follow up on the steps with Amazon FAB to ensure that they accept individuals without a license.

What you are referring to is the website's (Amazon) policy, I'm more concerned about the UAE regulations.

I'm quite sure I will need to be registered as a business entity to be able to import goods into the UAE, even if it is via Amazon.

To import goods, you can do it through a third party without the need to have a license. You can have a contract with a trading company to import the goods for you.

I don't know your budget and size of business but assume you want to save your cost, but if you want to start with a big scale, then this is a different topic.
