Legal course to determine liability for a school accident

My son fractured his finger in the right hand at school and underwent two surgeries. Another student was responsible for this accident.

The school is brushing it off with no financial or any kind of accountability. They keep telling that parents are responsible for this kind of incidents.

The hospital bill for physiotherapy is piling up. Can I take any legal action against them?

Hello.

In accordance with the Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2017 Regulating Private Schools in the Emirate of Dubai, private schools are obliged to provide all health, safety, and environmental requirements within its premises as approved by the KHDA and the concerned Government Entities.

You may file a complaint accordingly, depending on the circumstances of the accident that has happened.
