Claiming labour dues from a bankrupt company

We would like to ask about the procedure in case the company we were working with declared bankruptcy.

It is an international company with headquarters in Bombay and Dubai.`

Our contract is with Dubai, and all payments were made through the Dubai office.

What are our rights since they owe us a large amount of money? And is there any chance to recover that money?

Dear questioner,

It's better if you can file your labour case before the company files for bankruptcy.

Kindly contact us on the phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.

Hi,

You have an option of filing an application in the Labour Court, but if the company files insolvency, you need to wait till the final judgement, and ultimately, the disposition of all assets of the company.

In case of any further queries, you may contact us on the phone and/or email.
