The procedures of appealing case judgements

I have 4 cases, 3 judgements were made and one ongoing. How do I make an appeal for these?

With the one with judgement copy, is it possible to make an appeal?

The cases are in Abu Dhabi. But when I checked in Abu Dhabi court, they said I need to reopen the case again before I make an appeal as the court gives chance to reopen.

Is it mandatory to reopen the case before I make an appeal?

Yes. It is mandatory.

Dear Questioner,

Based on the criminal procedures law, you have the ability to appeal the judgments that have been issued by the court against you.

If you do not know how to proceed that, please feel free to contact us on the phone.

Thank you.

The cases are in Abu Dhabi. I have been to Abu Dhabi court. Is it mandatory to reopen the case file to make an appeal?

They said I have a chance to reopen the case and I have to do it, then only, an appeal can be made.

I have the judgement of a fine amount also. I just want to make an appeal for the amount. This why I should reopen the case.

Dear Questioner,

According to the federal criminal procedures law in the UAE, we have to reopen the case file in order to register the appeal and submit our defence to the appeal court for reducing the penalty fine has been issued by the court against you.

So, if you already got a legal notification from the court and signed that you are notified with the first instance court verdict, you have only 7 days from the next day of your notification to register judicial opposition if the judgment issued in your absence.

If with your attendance so you have only 15 days to appeal.

Please, be careful from the deadline time of the court.

Thank you.
