Entering the UAE again after leaving without proper cancellation
My brother exited the country without resigning from his job in Abu Dhabi. It has been 2 years since he left the UAE.
Can he come back on a visit visa?
Please be informed that his old visa should be cancelled already as per the federal immigration law.
So, if he tries to enter the country on a visit visa, it is going to be rejected due to the fact that his old visa is still hung on the system.

He can come on a visit visa provided his previous employer must not have filed an absconding case against him.

In case he left the company without canceling his employment visa, the only option for the company to cancel his visa is to file absconding case against him.
I suggest him, before coming back to UAE, to hire a lawyer to check his status in the police stations. I can help him with this checking.
