Attestation process of a bachelor's degree to work in the UAE

Do we need to get our bachelor's degree attested? If so, by whom do we need to get it done? Will the employer do it or take care of this?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Yes. If you want to work here in the UAE, your degrees have to be attested. Please do it yourself, or have the same done by a reputable organization who will not use a fake stamp and put you in trouble.

First, you need to notarize the same by a registered notary public office, then the UAE embassy in your country. If you are from India, the stamp of Home Ministry may be required.

AFTER the UAE Embassy stamp (a must), then when you reach here it must be attested by Ministry of Foreign affairs. If required then translated by a registered translator, and lastly stamped by Ministry of Justice.

The employer will not do it. You may do it yourself or approach Index attestation service, I have used them many times: http://indexdubai.com/divisions.aspx?id=2
