How to leave a Freezone company while being a partner and a managing director
I own 1% of shares and my partner owns 99% in a Dubai Freezone company.
I assigned as a managing director as well. Due to many reasons, I want to leave the company.
What would be my steps?

In this case, you will need to sell/transfer your 1% shareholding in the company and resign as managing director.

Is your company an LLC Company or a Freezone company?
The procedure is different from one authority to another.
In case your company is an LLC company, there are few documents that need to be signed and notarized.
In case your company is a Freezone company, the procedure is easier and they do not request notarized resolution.
