Fees, process and time needed for copyright registration in the UAE

Dear Sir/Mam,

I hope you are doing fine.

Pursuant to your query for registering jewellery design, please be informed that you can have a copyright registration of such design which will be valid up till the lifetime of the owner plus 50 years.

Please provide us with the initial information about how many designs you want to register at the moment. For the copyright registration, we shall be needing the following preliminary documents:

1. Design in jpg format.

2. Short annotation of the design.

3. Passport copy, phone no. and email address of the rightful owner.

Now, in regards to the time-frame and cost, it takes approximately 10 days for registration, which may extend to few more days in certain cases. The cost for such registration is AED 1500. Rest of the final quotation shall be sent to you once you agree to proceed forward.
