Copyright in the UAE
Online social community - start-up (seed stage).
Myself and 3 of my partners are currently finalizing investors proposal (pitch deck) to raise funding capital. Prior approaching investors, we wanted to enquire about intellectual property protection and copyrights.
Wanted to get an understanding of how this can be done here in UAE for it to be valid on a global level and how much would it cost. We are looking for brand logo copyright registration, user design/experience copyright registration and potential the idea itself. Would be great to get your advice.

We can facilitate registration of copyright.
List of Documents:
1. Passport Copy / trade license copy.
2. 3 copies in English or Arabic - hard and soft copy.
3. NOC letter from the author to the owner.
4. Diagram may or may not be in Arabic.
5. Fee to the Ministry after the certificate is issued.
6. If submitted on or before Monday will get the certificate by next Monday.
Information required:
a) who is the owner/applicant;
b) who is the author;
c) the owner has to come personally to sign before the Ministry of Economy.
