Obtaining a police clearance certificate when you have a police case

Hi

I need a police clearance for my immigration process to the US.

I have some issue with my credit card before, can I still apply for a clearance from the police department?

Dear Questioner,

If you have cleared all your cases related to your credit cards, then definitely you can request for a clearance letter.

Kindly contact us on the phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for reaching out to me on this.

I understand your requirement and would advise that your application for Police Clearance Certificate would be rejected due to outstanding credit card issues for the following reasons:

When you default on the payment of the credit card, the bank would file a police case against you. In view of the pending police case, your application for PCC will be rejected.

I would suggest that you inspect the police records, get the case cleared by paying fines. Once this is done, you will be able to get the PCC for your immigration process.

If you require assistance in clearing your case and ascertaining your records in the UAE, then you may contact me directly on email or phone.

Regards,

Paying fine means the whole amount?

Dear Sir/ Madam,

No, the fine depends on the amount involved. Assuming the amount is AED 100,000/-, you can expect a fine of AED 5000/-.

The figures are indicative in nature and actual figures may vary as per the court discretion.

For clearing the police cases, you don't need to pay the full outstanding amount.
