Rights of the tenant in case of selling the property

I signed a lease renewal for an apartment in Abu Dhabi for one year starting 28 October 2019.

The owner is now selling the apartment and the new owners want to evict me with two months notice once they own the apartment.

I have no contract with the new owners. Is this legal?

Thank you.

The new owner is obliged to respect the signed lease agreement. So, they cannot evict you in 2 months as they claim.

If you continue to receive such harassment, I would advise you to file a complaint to the relevant authorities in Abu Dhabi.

We can assist you in this case.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly email me your tenancy contract ("TC") to review at my email.

From your brief details above, the new owner is required to abide by the tenancy contract.

And if he insists on your eviction, we can assist you with filing a complaint against the new owner.
