Legal action against the husband for cheating
Hello,
My husband cheated on me and asked for a divorce after I caught him cheating.
I signed the initial divorce papers, the second signature will be after 20 days, but I cannot get over the hurt and the pain he and his mistress has put me through.
Is there anything I can legally do?
Dear questioner,
A proper divorce should be from the court. Any papers signed between you and your husband mutually will be not be treated as divorce papers.
Further many facts are not clear in this question.
Kindly contact us on the phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.
Dear questioner,
We may need to understand more of what do you wish to get from your husband and his mistress to guide you accordingly.
Do you want financial compensation for example? Or would you like to have another way of compensation that pays better for you like an apology or something similar?
On the other hand, do you actually have any material evidence to what you call as cheating? How can you legally proof such a relation between them?
If you proceed legally, we will need to present texts, photos, videos or witnesses so we have a solid case against them.
Last, we will need to understand more about your nationality, religion, state of residency and the circumstances of the cheating incidents in order to identify the relevant court of jurisdiction.
I would recommend you to come to our office for a meeting to listen more in a confidential meeting and advice you accordingly.
Best regards,
