My employer delays our salary, and when he gives it's only a partial amount, not a full month salary. He always promises he'll give the balance on the next salary, but after that again he gives partial payment like 500, sometimes 1,000. He hasn't given the salary for 2 months now, and yesterday Nov 11 2018, I asked for my balance salary from the previous month of Sept. and this month of Oct. Instead of giving me, he said I'll not give the salary because there's no money. This is my boss' drama every time we ask for the salary. Now I decided to stop work until I get paid. Any advice for me, because I don't want to continue working with his company. Thank you

Q: Hello, I am working for a manufacturing company in Dubai. The company is unable to pay the salaries on time for the last two years. There have been several promises made that the salaries would come back to normal, but didn't happen till now. Due to this, and even if the employee wishes to cancel the visa to discontinue his job here, the company does not give the full settlement during cancellation. Whereas the employee is forced to sign the cancellation paper stating that he has received all his benefits from the company while getting only partial payment. The company promises him that the remaining would be paid in the coming 3 to 6 months. The company fails to do so and leaves fewer options for the employee to challenge it legally. What should be done in such case in order to receive all the money before we leave the company?

Q: My husband is under my visa (wife's visa). He found a job and the company is going to give him an employment visa. Does he need to cancel his current visa in order to proceed for the company’s visa or just do the labour permit and give the No Objection letter? And if he really needs to cancel his current visa, does it affect also his medical insurance or he can still continue using it even if his visa is will be under the company’s visa?
