Labour case judgement and staying in the UAE after visa expiry

Good evening Ma'am

Greetings.

1) I got a judgment date on 16th September-19 after an appeal. Is there another chance to get more hearing date because in status it's showing Set for Judgement?

2) My visa is getting expired on 17th August-19, what do I have to do about this?

Please suggest on the above queries.

Thanks, Sir.

1) It depends on the claim amount. Labour cases can be appealed if the claimed value of the case is more than AED 20,000 (First Appeal).

The ruling of the Appeal Court cannot be challenged before the Court of Cassation if the value of the case is less than AED 200,000.

2) If your case is before a court in the UAE, you may continue to stay in the country for such time as the case is finally disposed of and no further appeals lie on the matter.

Please check with the Residency Department.
