Q: After living in Dubai with my husband and son for 3 years, I recently found him in our bed with another woman. I moved into a hotel and he blocked my bank accounts, took my car, cut off my phone and left me to make my own way back to the UK and sort everything out. He has also blocked my UK accounts and doesn't money back. I have a lawyer here but has cost me £5000 already and has achieved nothing. I am struggling to serve divorce papers in Dubai and I have to pay costs there too. He lives in Dubai but works in Abu Dhabi. Our 3 children are over 18 and living in the UK. I did not work in Dubai and he financially supported me. We jointly own a house in the UK which I am now living in but has a mortgage. I’m seeking advice on the topic of adultery where my husband and I are from the UK and the lady is resident in Dubai. She is Canadian, but working for the Emirates Airlines. My husband broke the relationship with her, but the lady keeps continuously contacting my husband asking him to leave me and our two small sons (5 years and 4 months). She often gets under the influence of alcohol and on those occasions, she is even more aggressive with her approach. As the girl works for the airline, she has frequent trips to London. Q: I am here in India and my husband works in Dubai. He has abandoned me and my children. He is calling me up now and threatening me of committing suicide, and also he wrote a suicide letter which mentions my name on it so that I get caught. I have a video where I have recorded all this conversation of him threatening me on a call. I have already reported this matter to Dubai police but no action has been taken.
