Q: I have bank liabilities overdue. I was unable to go back to the UAE… A: The bank has to file a case irrespective whether the borrower is in the country or outside or whether the borrower has a job or not. If the bank does not file a case for accounting purpose it will not be treated as bad debts…

The bank has to file a case irrespective whether the borrower is in the country or outside, or whether the borrower has a job or not. If the bank does not file a case for accounting purpose it will not be treated as bad debts.
