Claiming labour dues and visa cancellation upon completing the contract

I already completed the 2-year limited contract with my employer. As stipulated in their acknowledgement of my non-renewal, they will release the last salary and gratuity if I will provide any visa or plane ticket.

Luckily, I was able to find a new job and while the papers are still in process, I provided them with a copy of visit visa since the new employer cannot provide a working visa unless all legal papers will be done.

Even though I already gave them a copy of my visit visa, my old employer is still not giving me my last salary and gratuity.

What should I do?

Go to Tawafuq and file a complaint there, they will summon your ex-employer in order to settle your problem.

If he refuses, they will refer your complaint to the court and you will obtain all your dues.

My concern is I signed a paper, but not by my real signature, stating all the due amount has been received.

Will it be a problem for me in pursuing a case against my old employer for not giving me the last salary plus gratuity?

If you have any proof for your money and they still don't want to give it to you, you can make a complaint to finish your problem.

Try to contact them for the last chance.

It depends on your limited contract agreement if the clause mentions the non-competitor with the time you may face problem but if not mentioned in the contract then no problem for you.

Kindly go through your labour contract to be very clear about this non-competitor clause.
