Criminal case by rent a car company in Dubai
Hi
I had unpaid liability towards a car rental company based in Dubai. There was no cheque with them as they took a deposit from the cc.
The company filed a case in Feb 2019. I got to know about it when I checked online on the system; it also mentioned the station in which it has been registered.
But from a couple of months, it is not showing online. Please let me know what might be the reason and how to proceed further to get it cleared.

Please note that a rent a car company can file a police case directly if there are any outstanding dues. There is no necessity of holding a cheque to file a case.
If the case is shown previously, I doubt the company would have withdrawn it by themselves.
I trust you should appoint a legal representative to inspect the police records in the UAE to ascertain the current status and judgement, if any, in the criminal case.
Considering it is a criminal case, you can face penal action by way of fine or imprisonment, so I would advise you to deal with it carefully.
