Establishing a home-based business in Bahrain

Hello,

I've been wondering what would be the legal requirements to start an Instagram business that is completely home-based?

The business involves selling makeup and cosmetic appliances and is run by one person (Bahraini) alongside a contract with a courier company.

It also only works on Cash On Delivery. Does this business fall under the trading activities of Sijilat where I can use my home address or would I have to set up a commercial CR that requires a virtual commercial address?

I'm also unfamiliar with going about these entire procedures, along with being worried about the costs of establishing the Instagram page as an official legal business being too high with all costs added such as getting the CR, rent and paying VAT.

Please advise,

Thank you!

Hello,

If the activities and quantities are low, you may go ahead now without registration.

However, for further bigger shipments and bank transactions, we highly recommend a CR (virtual CR) in which you are eligible since you are Bahraini.

You may send us further details.

Thank you for answering, Faten.

I'd like to ask about the process of acquiring the Virtual CR along with what the possible costs might be?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on the total activities that you wish to add to your virtual CR. You may send us full details of your activities and the volume of business by email in order to send you a proposal.
